Black Current & Rose Tallow Soap Bar
So many commercial soap bars are packed with cheap detergents and irritating synthetics that strip your skin barrier, leaving you dry and itchy the second you step out of the shower.
I formulated this bar to give your skin deep, barrier-respecting hydration. I start with our signature base of 100% grass-fed Ontario beef tallow, blending it with nourishing olive oil, rich avocado oil, organic shea butter, and castor oil for a thick, lotion-like lather. Then, I folded in extra Australian red clay to give the bar an exceptionally silky glide while gently drawing out surface impurities. Scented with a blend of tart black currant, soft rose, warm vanilla, and grounding cedarwood essential oil, it brings a rich, comforting aroma to your daily wash.

Lather the soap bar between your hands or onto a washcloth with warm water, massage the rich, creamy foam over your body, and rinse thoroughly.
Note on Care: To dramatically preserve the life of your handmade soap, keep the bar well-draining and allow it to dry completely between uses.

Choosing clean body care means knowing every single ingredient serves a purposeful role. We use the scientific INCI names required for labeling, which represent real, natural ingredients transformed through traditional soapmaking:
The Nourishing, Saponified Natural Soap Base
(Note: "Saponified" means the oils have been turned into real, gentle soap! On our label, "Sodium" followed by an oil name is just the scientific way of showing that natural oil was used to make our soap.)

- Saponified Grass-Fed Ontario Beef Tallow (Sodium Tallowate) – Naturally rich in fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, and K) and nearly identical to our skin's natural oils, helping to cleanse deeply without stripping your moisture barrier.
- Saponified Olive Oil (Sodium Olivate) – Creates a gentle, hydrating base that keeps skin soft and smooth.
- Saponified Coconut Oil (Sodium Cocoate) – Adds a cleansing boost and creates long-lasting, bubbly foam.
- Saponified Organic Refined Shea Butter (Sodium Shea Butterate) – A rich plant butter that conditions and protects dry skin.
- Saponified Castor Oil (Sodium Castorate) – Draws moisture to the skin and creates a rich, creamy lather.
- Saponified Avocado Oil (Sodium Avocadate) – High in fatty acids and vitamin E to deeply soothe and condition skin.
