I chose to use 100% grass-fed Ontario beef tallow as the star of this recipe. Tallow is uniquely barrier-respecting and matches the natural lipids of our skin, meaning your lips absorb its rich vitamins instantly.
I blend the tallow with rich, deeply nourishing avocado oil and local beeswax to create a breathable, protective seal that keeps moisture locked in. It glides on smoothly, lasts for hours, and leaves your lips feeling soft, pillowy, and completely protected from the elements.
