Tallow Facial Soap Bar – Turmeric & Raw Honey

Our Tallow Facial Soap is handcrafted with 100% grass-fed Ontario beef tallow and a nourishing blend of olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, castor oil and jojoba oil to create a rich, creamy lather that gently cleanses without leaving your skin feeling stripped.

Tallow is naturally rich in fatty acids and fat-soluble vitamins, making it a beautiful choice for a conditioning facial bar. Combined with shea butter and jojoba oil, it helps leave the skin feeling soft, smooth and comfortable after cleansing.

Turmeric, raw local honey, licorice root and chamomile have been added for their naturally soothing and skin-loving properties, helping support a brighter, more even-looking complexion while giving the bar its beautiful botanical character.

Scented with a blend of frankincense, sweet orange and tea tree essential oils, this facial bar has a fresh, warm and lightly herbal aroma.

Naturally coloured: Real turmeric gives this bar its warm golden tone. Because it is made with natural ingredients, colour may vary slightly from batch to batch.

How To Use

Wet your face with warm water.

Rub the bar between your hands (or onto a soft washcloth) to build up a creamy, lotion-like lather.

Gently massage the lather over your face and neck in circular motions, avoiding your direct eye area.

Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry. Follow immediately with a dab of our Tallow Face & Body Balm to lock in that hydration!

Choosing clean body care means knowing every single ingredient serves a purposeful role. We use the scientific INCI names required for labeling, which represent real, natural ingredients transformed through traditional soapmaking:

The Nourishing, Saponified Natural Soap Base
(Note: "Saponified" means the oils have been turned into real, gentle soap! On our label, "Sodium" followed by an oil name is just the scientific way of showing that natural oil was used to make our soap.)

The Barrier-Respecting Base

  • Saponified Grass-Fed Ontario Beef Tallow (Sodium Tallowate) – Naturally rich in fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E, and K) and nearly identical to our skin's natural oils, helping to cleanse deeply without stripping your moisture barrier.
  • Saponified Olive Oil (Sodium Olivate) – Creates a gentle, deeply hydrating base that keeps skin soft and nourished.
  • Saponified Coconut Oil (Sodium Cocoate) – Adds a cleansing boost and helps whip up a rich, creamy lather.
  • Saponified Shea Butter (Sodium Shea Butterate) – A rich, plant-based butter that conditions and comforts delicate facial skin.
  • Saponified Castor Oil (Sodium Castorate) – Draws moisture to the skin while creating long-lasting, bubbly foam.
  • Saponified Jojoba Oil (Sodium Jojobate) – Mimics natural sebum to keep pores clear and oil production balanced.

  • Turmeric Root Powder (Curcuma Longa Root Powder) – Packed with natural antioxidants to soothe inflammation and brighten dull skin.
  • Raw Local Honey (Mel) – A natural humectant that draws moisture into the skin while calming redness.
